A Bit About Me

I semi-retired about three years ago to work as a perfumer and to start producing my own line of luxury "niche" fragrances which I sell quite well online and in several boutiques including some in Europe. I'm enjoying a growing reputation as an artist for my line. Anyone who is interested in this subject can chat me up.

I was born in Los Angeles, traveled the world and live here now once again since this is where I have set up my manufacturing. I'm spoiled about weather and would have a hard time living in too many other places except perhaps Hawaii, the Caribbean or Tahiti. Southern Florida suits me, too.

My life is about buying packaging, perfumery raw materials, bottles, labels and a shitload of other products, billing, then mailing my fragrances out. I enjoy dealing with wholesalers. I'm currently wracking my brains trying to locate a lot of a certain perfume spray bottle.

I have a line of seven eaux de parfume (no, not eau de parfums) and spend some of my finest time with my raw materials and smelling strips creating new scents with a true "signature." I'm very involved online with a group of other perfumers from all over the world which is wonderfully gratifying to me. It's rare in this field to find other perfumers who are willing to share and teach each other the "secrets" of this arcane art that they're involved with.
I also love working on graphic arts, so I produce all of my package designs, web designs and ads myself. I'm quite adept now with Illustrator and Photoshop and it seems that I'm always at the printer's shop proofing something or picking something up for press kits, etc. I love it. About the only thing I don't like is filling hundreds of little glass vials as testers. I wish I had a robot to do that. Maybe soon I will turn that task over to a filling company. Anyone want to come to my place and help do that task? No? That's what I thought...

I supplement my finances considerably by marketing other things online. I've learned everything I know and do my promotion using a super system called VERETEKK. Click on it to learn more.
